We celebrated Rich's birthday this weekend. It was a blast! It started on Thursday night with a trifle requested by the birthday boy. Thanks Joy for the recipe! It is really easy and super good!

Friday (Rich's birthday) we enjoyed a pancake breakfast. Rich got to eat on the "You are Special" plate.
After breakfast we headed to Plano. Friday night we stayed at the Nylo. It was a neat living social deal I found so we decided to take advantage of the day. We started by going to the mall, then headed to the movie. We saw
Safe House, which was good, just a little more action than I expected. Don't worry we are going to see
The Vow next. :)
After the movie we headed to the hotel, got dressed for dinner and went downstairs to the restaurant. The package we got included dinner, and breakfast. The food was really good!
Enjoying the modern decor
The Nylo is a loft style hotel. The decor is modern, and the rooms are set up like a loft. My review of the hotel is it is an awesome night away, but if you are going for all around comfort this is not your place. The halls echo, and the rooms are chilly. The atmosphere is fun, and we had a blast. They have a beautiful outdoor fire place and patio. We will be going back in the summer.
